Responsibilities:
• Welcome clients as they arrive at our counter and assist them with their inquiries related to their
IT infrastructure requirements, including hardware, software, networking and accessories.
• Provide product information, specifications and recommendations to clients based on their
business needs and budget constraints.
• Assist clients in choosing the suitable IT solutions, including but not limited to structured
cabling products, servers, storage systems, networking devices, security appliances and
peripheral devices.
• Efficiently and accurately handle sales transactions which includes tasks such as order entry,
invoicing, and payment processing.
• Collaborate with the warehouse staff to complete customer orders, organize product delivery or
pickup, and guarantee prompt order fulfilment.
• Attend to customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide assistance with technical questions
regarding product features, compatibility, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Offer additional products, maintenance contracts, warranties, and service agreements to
customers to enhance the value of their purchase through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
• Ensure the counter area remains clean, orderly, and visually attractive by managing product
displays, promotional materials, and pricing signage.
• Keep abreast of current technology trends, product launches, and industry advancements to
offer well-informed recommendations to customers.
• Work together with sales team members, technical support personnel, and vendors to address
customer concerns, escalate intricate issues, and guarantee customer contentment.
• Motivate the team to meet or exceed the sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set
by the company and submit periodic reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field
preferred.
• Previous experience in IT sales, technical support, or customer service roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and
software applications.
• Familiarity with leading IT hardware and software brands, manufacturers, and product lines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to
non-technical customers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
