Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for expanding company's operational windows and increasing revenues.
• Generate new business opportunities, identify potential areas & clients, develop strategic plans and sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Contacting and securing new business accounts/customers via telephone calls and in-person visits and personal presentations and negotiations with prospective customers.
• Developing clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective customers.
• Coordinate sales efforts with engineering, estimating, project management, manufacturing and accounting.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
• Participate in trade shows.
• Perform additional requests as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business discipline.
• 5 yrs. minimum experience in business development, sales or marketing in Heavy steel fabrication company
• Established connections/status/background in similar industries required.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficient, able to use MS Office (should be expert in presentations), quotation spreadsheets and sales management software.
