We are looking to employ a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales programs that maximize sales from the assigned accounts to the target accounts, overseeing and conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives, developing and implementing sales strategies and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team.
- Setting sales targets to be achieved by the sales team.
- Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
- Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
- Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Administration or equivalent experience.
- FMCG experience (non-food) is a MUST.
- Proven (5-8) years’ experience as a Key Account Manager/ Area Sales Manager.
- Proven successful experience in sales management.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
