Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and inspire the kitchen team to maintain high culinary standards.
*Design and implement menus that reflect the authenticity of Indian cuisine while appealing to local tastes and preferences.
*Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet our stringent standards consistently.
*Source high-quality ingredients and negotiate with suppliers to meet budgetary requirements.
*Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in the kitchen in compliance with local regulations.
*Train and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning and culinary excellence.
*Collaborate with the management team on cost control measures, kitchen operations, and menu pricing.
*Stay abreast of culinary trends in Indian cuisine and incorporate innovative approaches where appropriate.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role within the culinary field.
*Currently residing in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate, with a valid work permit.
*Comprehensive knowledge of regional Indian culinary traditions and techniques.
*A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in menu development and kitchen management.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
*Creativity in menu planning and a commitment to culinary excellence.
*Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
*Culinary arts degree from a reputed institution or equivalent professional training.
