Job Summary:
• The Safety Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Provide safety training to employees on a regular basis.
• Keep abreast of new developments in safety regulations and guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Safety Officer or similar role.
• Having NABOSH or OSHA certificate.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Certification in occupational health and safety is a plus.
