Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet the unique needs of our supermarket operations, balancing quality, cost, and reliability.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure we have the best products available for our customers at competitive prices.
- Oversee inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and implement effective inventory management practices to keep our shelves well-stocked and our customers satisfied.
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize processes throughout the supermarket.
- Mentor and lead a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional results and uphold the highest standards in supermarket operations.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with sales targets, ensuring a diverse product offering and competitive pricing to drive revenue growth and meet customer demand effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in procurement, operations management, or retail management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a supermarket or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of supermarket operations, including procurement, inventory management, and customer service.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in supermarket operations.
