Furniture AutoCAD Designer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Furniture AutoCAD Designer to join our team. As a Furniture AutoCAD Designer, you will be responsible for translating conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to develop innovative furniture designs that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

Create precise 2D and 3D drawings of furniture designs using AutoCAD software.
Interpret design briefs, sketches, and specifications to develop accurate technical drawings.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to refine and finalize furniture designs.
Ensure that furniture designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to make necessary revisions and improvements to designs.
Generate material lists, dimensions, and specifications for manufacturing processes.
Create renderings and visualizations to present designs to clients and stakeholders.
Assist in prototyping, testing, and evaluating furniture designs for functionality and durability.
Stay updated on emerging trends, materials, and technologies in furniture design and CAD software.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Proven experience working as a Furniture AutoCAD Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant CAD tools.
Strong understanding of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in furniture design.
Knowledge of ergonomic principles and human-centered design concepts.
Familiarity with rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp) is a plus.
Portfolio demonstrating past furniture design projects and proficiency in CAD software.
