We offer a unique Pastry Chef position because you won’t be working with pastry. You’ll be working with delicious gelato, semifreddo and chocolate! We strongly request that our members be highly motivated with a good work ethic, and maintain the ability to adjust within a fast paced working environment.
Requirements for this position:
Previous food production experience. Experience with ice cream, gelato, chocolate or pastries is prefered.
Ability to perform accurate arithmetic calculations
Ability to accurately measure ingredients with a scale utilizing the metric system
High attention to detail and understanding of beautiful aesthetic food presentation
Experience managing inventory
Excellent verbal and written communication. Effective communication with staff and customers is essential.
Ability to understand and follow recipes and instructions
Ability to plan and prioritize work
Comfortable with responsibility
