Junior Accountant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, and contributing to the overall efficient operation of the department.Key responsibilities include:
• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices
• Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations
• Assisting in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assisting with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned
• Updating financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and immediate availability when needed
• Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
• Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assisting with other accounting projects
The successful candidate should possess:
• Proven experience as a Junior Accountant
• Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Updating financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and immediate availability when
needed
• Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
• Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assisting with other accounting projects
• The successful candidate should possess:
• Proven experience as a Junior Accountant
• Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., SAP)
• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field is preferred, but not required
