Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our plastic manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within the office, supporting various departments, and contributing to overall efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
2. Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
3. Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings
4. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
5. Prepare internal communications, memos, and reports.
6. Coordinate and book travel arrangements for staff when necessary.
7. Assist with payroll processing and employee timekeeping.
8. Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.
9. Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
10. Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
11. Uphold company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or similar role.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.
9. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with office management software (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Trello).
2. Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
3. Previous experience in the plastics or manufacturing industry.
