Job responsibilities:
A Chiller Technician should be responsible for maintaining and repairing chillers (refrigeration systems) and other related equipment.
•He must diagnose problems, inspect and test systems, perform maintenance and repairs, and ensure that equipment is running efficiently and safely.
Qualification:
• Should have more than 5 years of experience, experience in gulf with popular brands like York, Trane, Zamil, Carrier, Petra, SKM , etc. is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
Chiller Technician Skills
● The Chiller Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial/commercial chillers and their associated components. This may include chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, valves, filters, compressors, evaporators and condensers.
●Technician must have knowledge to install Chiller. AHU, FCU chiller line all the parts related to chiller.
●The Chiller Technician must possess a good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, as well as have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
●The successful candidate will be required to carry out routine maintenance, repair and installation of chillers, as well as provide technical advice and guidance to customers.
●They must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be able to work to tight deadlines.
• The Chiller Technician Shall be able to perform as a highly skilled craftsman, install, diagnose, repair and overhaul all types of screw chillers and refrigeration systems.
• The Chiller Technician Shall be able to determine nature of repairs, overhauling or modifications to be made and replacement parts required.
• The Chiller Technician Shall be able to read and understand electrical diagrams, instrumentation & control diagrams and logic diagrams.
• The Chiller Technician Shall be able to perform maintenance on equipment and perform operating tests to ensure satisfactory operation of repaired, overhauled or newly installed equipment and systems.
• The Chiller Technician Shall be able to perform highly skilled diagnosis of HVAC and refrigeration systems faults.
• The Chiller Technician Shall be able to prepare new or altered installation on all types of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• The Chiller Technician Shall be able to speak, read and write the English language and be proficient in writing correspondence and technical reports.
