Job Purpose:
The Data Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s data security infrastructure. They ensure the protection of sensitive data against unauthorized access, breaches, and other security threats. They will work closely with other IT and security teams to deploy data security solutions and monitor data activities.
Core Responsibilities:
•
Support incident investigation & alerting, document DLP incidents, provide recommendation of DLP, IRM, and encryption, and policy/rules modifications to detect new threats and optimize alerts.
•
Conduct periodic review of activities on endpoint encryption server.
•
Support incident logging and review root cause.
•
Coordinate with IT functions for disc encryption for users as and when request raised
•
Support the administration and maintenance of DLP and endpoint encryption platform and its components.
•
Support, maintain, and troubleshoot the DLP, encryption agent management on endpoint device.
•
Maintain documentation of processes on repositories and knowledge link.
•
Perform decryption of encrypted documents using super user account.
•
Maintain and manage the PKI infrastructure.
•
Support the administration of internal PKI certificates to issue, revoke, recover and maintain the client’s PKI certificates.
•
Maintain and manage the watermarking solution. Support its administration to push/remove/modify watermarks on workstation and Citrix VDI.
•
Support all policy management related database activities.
•
Monitor alarms and events from the DAM system.
•
Enable DAM protection profiles based on various databases.
•
Support DAM endpoint agent management.
Technical Expertise:
•
Knowledge and experience in: DLP, endpoint encryption, Azure IRM, Azure Information Protection, database activity monitoring, Microsoft PKI, and watermarking solution.

Educational:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

•
Hands-on experience with data security tools and technologies such as encryption, DLP, and data masking.
•
Strong understanding of endpoint security principles
•
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
•
Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
