Store Manager
As a Store Manager in a Convenience Store (C-Store), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring a seamless and customer-centric experience. Your leadership will drive sales growth, uphold store standards, and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibility: Operational Excellence
- Lead and manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
- Implement efficient systems and processes to optimize workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, order stock, and manage vendor relationships to ensure adequate product availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Conduct regular store inspections to assess cleanliness, organization, and adherence to merchandising guidelines.
Responsibility: Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of retail associates, providing coaching and feedback to support their professional growth and success.
- Foster a positive work culture characterized by teamwork, respect, and accountability, motivating staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Schedule employee shifts effectively to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and optimize labor costs.
Responsibility: Customer Engagement
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving customer inquiries, and handling complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop initiatives to enhance the customer experience, such as loyalty programs, promotional events, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor customer feedback and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibility: Sales and Financial Management
- Analyze sales performance metrics, identify trends, and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Set and achieve sales targets, monitor expenses, and manage budgets to optimize store profitability.
- Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and product placement strategies to drive sales and increase average transaction value.
Responsibility: Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing the sale of tobacco, alcohol, and other restricted products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses, preparing reports as required by management and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with corporate offices and support teams to implement company initiatives, policies, and procedures effectively.
As a Store Manager in a Convenience Store (C-Store), you play a critical role in driving the success of the store through operational excellence, team leadership, customer engagement, sales management, and compliance. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce or a related field.
- Proven experience within the Super Market (Retail Trade) industry.
- Experience in dealing with customers (3-5 years)
- Lead teams for more than 2 years.
- Experience with Financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft suits.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of inventory management
- Speaks and writes professional English very well
