Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bread Baker to join our restaurant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in making dough and baking various types of bread, ensuring high-quality products that meet our restaurant’s standards. The Bread Baker will be responsible for preparing ingredients, mixing and kneading dough, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Dough Preparation: Accurately measure and mix ingredients to prepare dough according to specific recipes and production schedules.
• Bread Baking: Shape and bake a variety of bread types, including artisan loaves, rolls, and specialty breads, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens and mixers, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including tracking ingredient usage, reporting shortages, and ensuring supplies are well-stocked.
• Sanitation and Safety: Follow health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and adhering to all food safety guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team, including assisting in training new staff and participating in recipe development.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Bread Baker or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, including dough mixing, fermentation, and baking.
• Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
• Ability to lift heavy bags of flour and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
