DESCRIPTION WORK
1. ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, maintain, and repair medium voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, cables, and associated equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions to airport operations.
Conduct inspections and testing of medium voltage equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other maintenance teams and departments to coordinate work activities and ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
Document maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements, in accordance with established procedures.
Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and plans to optimize the performance of medium voltage electrical systems.
Respond to emergency situations and participate in outage restoration efforts as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician specializing in medium voltage systems, with relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of medium voltage electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, cables, and protective devices.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations governing medium voltage installations (e.g., NFPA 70E, IEEE standards).
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
2. HML TECHNICIAN
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled High Mast Lighting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation,
maintenance, and repair of high mast lighting systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, maintain, and repair high mast lighting systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems with high mast lighting fixtures, poles, and associated components.
Conduct voltage, current, and continuity tests to ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits and components.
Replace faulty lamps, ballasts, photocells, and other lighting accessories as needed.
Inspect and repair structural components of high mast poles, including anchors, bolts, and cables, to ensure structural integrity and stability.
Operate aerial lifts, cranes, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently during installation and maintenance activities.
Document maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements, accurately and comprehensively.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate work activities and meet project deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in electrical or lighting systems preferred.
Proven experience as a High Mast Lighting Technician or similar role, with relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuitry, and power distribution.
Familiarity with high mast lighting fixtures, poles, and accessories, as well as related equipment and tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments, often under challenging weather conditions.
Proficiency in operating aerial lifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
