Heavy Drivers

Job Descriptions:
• Heavy Duty Driver is primarily responsible for the Truck / Trailer he is driving and the various loads he is moving.
• Safety performing the move activities promptly and efficiently.
• Attend all Safety Meetings including but not limited to pre-move and post-move meetings.
• Get familiar with roads, and terrain, know the destination.
• Follow instructions and directives given by the Supervisor / Truck Pusher and or Convoy Leader.
• Ensure compliance with all Departments of Transportation and Traffic rules and regulations; moreover, OFSAT and in abidance with its Owner / Client Arabian Drilling Company "ADC" has enforced complex driving restrictions.
• Take rest periods during trips
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and company regulations.
• Fill up diesel, and monitor the level of fuel considering the trip length versus consumption.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the direct Supervisor.
• Prepare truck for loading goods intended for delivery to designated location(s) after securing the load Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs reporting it immediately to the Supervisor.
• Take special precautions while driving, most loads are considered "Critical" hence special attention to heavy, oversize and high loads.
• Inspect Truck/Trailer before and after the trip completing the "Check List" provided by the company, record and report any defects found.
• Ability to read, understand and follow the disassembly, assembly and diagnostic procedure from the vehicle manufacturers manuals are must.
• Ability to fill in repair checklists and maintain repair records of the components.


Education / Qualifications:
Secondary School or High School or equivalent is preferable.
Certifications:
N/A
Relevant Experience — Minimum:
• 3 years' experience as a heavy-duty driver locally OR 3 years as a GCC Heavy Driver preferably
Capable of driving Heavy Duty Trucks including but limited to oilfield beds and Tractors.
• Experienced to drive operate trucks mounted with the winch.
• Good Communication Level in English.
• Minimum acceptable age is 27 years old.
• Holder of "Public - Heavy Duty Driving License".
