Roles and Responsibilities:
Planning:
Project Scheduling:
• Develop and maintain project schedules using software such as Primavera P6.
• Establish baseline schedules and ensure timely updates.
• Identify critical paths, milestones, and potential bottlenecks.
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS):
• Define and structure project activities into manageable components.
• Align WBS with project objectives and deliverables.
Progress Tracking:
• Implement systems to track and report project progress.
• Perform variance analysis (Planned vs. Actual).

Cost Control:
Cost Monitoring:
• Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and report deviations.
Forecasting:
• Provide cost forecasts based on current trends and project progress.
• Suggest adjustments to maintain cost efficiency.

Coordination:
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with procurement, construction, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of schedules and budgets.
Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain a risk register and update it regularly.

Reporting & Documentation:
Performance Reports:
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress and cost reports.
• Use Earned Value Management (EVM) for performance measurement.
Documentation:
• Maintain detailed records of all planning and cost control activities.
• Ensure compliance with project and organizational standards.
