Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
 Analyze costs and prepare regular cost sheets comparing standard costs to actual service costs.
 Estimate product costs for existing and new services.
 Developing and analyzing standard cost sheets for related services.
 Implement Activity Based Costing model.
 Prepare cost structure to be the base of pricing services.
 Analyze financial data and identify areas where cost savings can be achieved by implementing them across the organization.
 Analyzes variances/changes in costs and expenses using different models to identify root causes with recommendations.
 Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual costs.
 Prepare what if cost analysis, breakeven analysis for each service category.
 Ensure availability, validity and accuracy of costing reports and analysis which should be generated through ERP.
 Develop standard costing templates to facilitate data gathering from different sources.
 Estimating costs and comparing budgets with actual expenses.
 Monitoring costs after significant changes in products or processes.
 Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.
 Forecast and analyze costs of processes and manpower.
 Prepare periodic P&L reports by project, service and activities.
 Direct the development of the organization's budget from cost and expense perspective.
 Communicate with various other departments, analyze the company's plans, and make mutual decisions on future directions to be taken.
 Assist user departments/ sections in developing master data for cost analysis.
 Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Qualifications and Skills
 Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
 Extremely proficient in MS Excel, particularly budget development, and formula utilization.
 Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost specialist or similar role.
 Ability to prepare financial reports and give recommendations based on available data.
 Ability to analyze and interpret costing and Budgeting reports
 Ability to determine work priorities and accomplish goals within limited periods of time while under pressure.
 Experienced in developing costing systems and analysis.
 Knowledge of accounting processes and software.
 Strong financial analysis skills.
 Good communication aptitude.
