Fabricator / Senior Fabricator

1 Duty Proven work experience as a Fabricator or similar role. Knowledge to fabricate, assemble, fit and install steel or other metal components for Skid, bridges, tanks, towers, boilers, pressure vessels and other similar structures and products.

2 Duty Reading & understanding fabrication drawing & weld map to determine materials requirements and task sequences.

3 Duty Ensuring that all the required material for fabrication are available prior to start the fabrication work.

4 Duty knowledge of set up and operate fabricating tools and machines such as rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill and assemble metal components.

5 Duty Knowledge of align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers.

6 Duty Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps, or bolt parts in position for welding.

7 Duty Lift or move materials and finished products, using cranes & fork-lift.
