Job title: MEP Supervisor

Responsibilities
• Supervision: Manage MEP activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers and contractors for smooth execution of MEP tasks.
• Installation Monitoring: Oversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, lighting, fire protection, and plumbing.
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Document Review: Check drawings, specifications and technical submittals for accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address any MEP-related issues during the construction and maintenance phases.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure the team follows all health and safety guidelines during project execution.
• Assistance in Logistics: Help with scheduling, procurement of materials, and workforce allocation for MEP tasks.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports to management regarding MEP activities.

Qualifications
• Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP supervision, preferably in the construction sector.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant codes and regulations.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction.
