Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with experience servicing and repairing Chromatography equipment (GC/MS, HPLC, GC, GC Analyzers & LC's etc) from OEMs such as Waters, Agilent, Perkin Elmer, Thermo Fisher & Shimadzu?

Role of Laboratory Equipment Service Engineer – Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry:



Act as the first response to Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry & Laboratory Automation equipment breakdowns ensuring all critical science and operations are protected
Working with the key equipment users, wider engineering team and suppliers to ensure that all key laboratory instrument platforms are operationally functional to support the customers science needs
Adhere to agreed Service Level Agreements and support team to exceed Key Performance Indicators
Develop and implement a proactive maintenance regime for the equipment that supports our client’s customised platforms
Working with the scientific teams, make recommendations for how best to optimise system performance through service data insights
Carryout on-going system performance analysis based upon error logs, live run interventions and root-cause analysis & trending of errors to mitigate their reoccurrence
Develop innovative support solutions that bring value to our customer
Cross train for wider engineering support within onsite servicing team
Adopt and champion new technologies to improve response and resolution time for client
Take ownership of workload, parts inventory, safety and quality compliance protocols
Maintain awareness of new developments in the field of Laboratory Automation


Requirements of Laboratory Equipment Service Engineer – Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry:



5+ years experience as a Field Service Engineer with experience servicing and repairing Multi-Vendor Chromatography equipment (HPLC, GC, GC/MS, GC Analyzers & LC's) from OEMs such as Waters, Agilent, Perkin Elmer, Thermo Fisher & Shimadzu etc.
Bachelors or Masters in Electronics, Instrumentation or any other relevant degree
Previous experience of working in multidisciplinary customer facing teams
Advanced Technical Skills or Experience of servicing scientific equipment
Driving Continuous Improvement and innovative solutions
Good understanding of device networking and communication protocols
Full Valid Saudi Arabia Driving Licence will be desirable
Excellent PC and Microsoft tools skills
