We are looking for an Furniture Production Manager for our company which is well established with local furniture manufacturing facilities and well-known high-end furniture retail showrooms around KSA.
Responsibility
• Manage the furniture production line to ensure that all orders are executed according to the clients’ requirements.
• Responsible for the inventory and maintenance of all machinery and tools.
• Responsible for the coordination of all raw materials (frames, panels, fabrics, paints, etc.).
• Ensure that production schedules are executed within the agreed time frame.
• Work with other relevant departments to coordinate materials and manpower planning for production.
• Plan and organize the maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure production problems are investigated and resolved in record time.
• Ensure that faulty equipment is repaired quickly and efficiently.
• Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time.
• Plan and monitor furniture production at every stage of the manufacturing process.
• Ensure that all furniture produced meets the company’s quality standards.
• Troubleshoot design and/or manufacturing problems as they arise.
• Responsible for optimizing the manufacturing process and developing and carrying out manufacturing and productivity improvement plans.
• Overseeing the production process and drawing up a production schedule
• Ensuring that the production is cost-effective and also updating and improving whenever and wherever possible.
• Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
• Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
• Estimating costs and setting quality standards.
• Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
• Maximize the factory’s performance, while minimizing any delays to ensure we meet deadlines.
• Complete the production planning phase and ensure everything is according to the plan.
• Supervise and handle all the job orders within the set time and operating budget.
• Handle all the production team’s needs, including job orders, work standards, process flow, and inspection reports
Requirements
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in furniture manufacturing design, fine arts, and interior design or related filed.
• A furniture manufacturing designer professional certification advantageous.
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the supervision or management of furniture manufacturing in GCC.
• OR minimum of 5 years experience in the supervision or management of furniture manufacturing out of GCC.
Skills
• A solid understanding of project management phases.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Proven self-management and team-management skills
• Ability to monitor and control project budgets
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Competency in project management software and Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate in English, Arabic, Urdu/Hindi (tri-lingual) will be advantageous.
