Position Description: Quality Inspection Engineer will ensure the quality of steel structures fabrication, from raw materials to finished products, in accordance with engineering drawings, standards, and project specifications. The candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the fabrication process, conducting inspections, and verifying the final product meets all quality requirements before delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents related to steel structures.
• Supervise and inspect the fabrication process to ensure adherence to approved drawings and industry standards.
• Ensure all fabrication procedures are followed, including material preparation, welding, assembly, and finishing.
• Perform dimensional checks and cross-verify ready products against design specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control documentation.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve any quality-related issues.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and best practices to enhance product quality.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in steel structures fabrication.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Solid understanding of steel fabrication processes, welding techniques, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of quality assurance/quality control standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
