Environmental And Sustainability Manager

Our company is seeking a dedicated Environmental and Sustainability Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive environmental and sustainability strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement environmental and sustainability policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and international standards
Conduct environmental impact assessments and identify potential risks and hazards on project sites
Develop and implement environmental management plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations
Monitor and report on environmental performance of projects, including waste management, energy consumption, and carbon emissions
Provide guidance and training to project teams on environmental and sustainability practices
Liaise with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainability initiatives
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental standards
Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in environmental and sustainability management
Prepare and submit reports to clients and senior management on environmental and sustainability performance
Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement sustainable solutions and initiatives
Manage and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements
Oversee the implementation of environmental and sustainability requirements in the procurement process
Participate in project meetings and provide advice on environmental and sustainability matters.
