The position of Sales & Logistics Coordinator consists of managing the sales/business development, full logistics, and customer relationships of the company and reporting to the Managing Director
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for initiating sales with prospective or current clients.
Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
Negotiating sales deals with customers and following up on a regular basis.
Establish and manage an effective business relationship with customers/associates via innovative strategies to maximize sales.
Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets.
Co-ordinate with the management for costing targets and negotiate with suppliers.
Placing purchase orders and ensuring timely materials delivery at the site.
Uphold rapport with clients and prospects.
Nurture new sales leads to secure business
Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients.
Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery is completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Arrange to meet shipping deadlines and liaise with shipping agents and port agents on necessary documentation.
Provides guidance to warehouse and logistics personnel for packing and shipping.
Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, in accordance with the terms & conditions of the purchase, INCOTERMS, import/export regulations and client specific instructions.
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
