Job Title: Sales Manager – Construction, Industrial Maintenance, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy



Job Summary
The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the Construction, Industrial Maintenance, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors. The role requires a strong understanding of these industries, exceptional networking abilities, and a proven record in managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development:

Identify, prospect, and establish new business opportunities within assigned sectors to drive revenue growth.
Develop relationships with key decision-makers in target companies, including contractors, project managers, procurement teams, and senior management.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to proactively adapt strategies.
Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives and sector demands.
Set sales targets, forecast sales volumes, and monitor progress against targets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns and events that drive brand visibility and attract leads.
Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing consistent, high-quality service and support.
Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining client satisfaction.
Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients to secure long-term contracts.
Sales Process Management:

Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing sales.
Prepare and present accurate sales proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs.
Ensure timely and accurate updates of sales activities and results in the CRM system.
Collaboration and Coordination:

Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, procurement, finance) to ensure alignment on project requirements, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Support the tendering and bid management process, including preparing responses, coordinating with the technical team, and negotiating terms.
Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and market analyses for management.
Analyze sales performance metrics, assess the effectiveness of strategies, and recommend adjustments as needed.
Monitor competitor activity and provide insights for improving sales strategies.
Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with potential clients and contracts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
5+ years of sales experience in Construction, Industrial Maintenance, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within complex industrial markets.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of industry-specific products, services, and market dynamics.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
