Pipe Machine Captain’s Position

• Start ups and shut downs following all policy and procedures
• Jobholder has to monitor machines constantly and to control system to varying various parameters.
• Ensure to operate multiple activities function simultaneously.
• Ensure that all equipment is safe to operate
• Complete all other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Senior Production Leader.
• Ensure that his team performs to the standard of excellence set and that he trains and motivates them as required to achieve the Quality and production standards.
Ensure to work under minimum Supervision and has ability to train new shop floor employee
• Ensure that his area is kept clean at all times to comply with house
keeping regulations.
• Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety/the safety of others is not jeopardized and a minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Required Qualifications:
Technical / High School

Preferred Experience:
4 to 5 years working as a Captain on a relevant machine.
Job-Specific Skills:
Detailed knowledge of the Pipe machine and Products.
related to the plastic extrusion experience
Knowledge of Raw Material and associated hazards, Material Safety Data, Resin mixing / dosage.
Detailed knowledge of product specifications – dimensional and visual requirements
Knowledge of using measuring / tools such as Pi-Tapes. Measuring tapes, Vernier calipers
Knowledge of required quality standards, visual defects
