Job Overview:

The Road Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and planning road infrastructure projects. This role requires technical expertise in civil engineering, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development: Create detailed road design plans using CAD software and adhere to engineering standards.
Project Management: Manage road design projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Site Assessments: Conduct field surveys and site assessments to gather data for design and planning.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and environmental guidelines.
Collaboration: Work with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive transportation solutions.
Technical Reports: Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to clients and regulatory agencies.
Cost Estimation: Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and budgets.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in design and execution.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum [6-10 years] of experience in road design and civil engineering projects.
Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
