Job Summary: The Store Keeper manages daily store operations, ensuring accurate handling, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and supplies while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory, conduct physical counts, and monitor stock levels.
Receiving and Inspection: Receive deliveries, inspect items, and verify against purchase orders.
Storage and Organization: Organize and label items for easy access while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Issuance and Recordkeeping: Issue materials, maintain accurate records, and track returns of tools.
Safety and Maintenance: Ensure storage areas are clean and report safety issues.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain inventory records, assist in purchase orders, and provide reports on stock levels and expenditures.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in inventory management are a plus.
Experience: 2-3 years in inventory control or storekeeping.
Skills: Attention to detail, proficiency in inventory software, basic math skills, and good communication.
Working Conditions: Must be able to lift and move inventory in a warehouse environment.
