JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for overseeing the quality of fire protection system installations, ensuring that all work adheres to regulatory standards and company specifications. This role is critical in maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring compliance with safety codes and customer requirements across various project sites in KSA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection criteria for fire system installations, ensuring alignment with KSA regulations and international standards.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire protection installations, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems, to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure proper installation and adherence to project requirements.
Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications, and initiate corrective actions with relevant project teams.
Prepare detailed quality inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure documentation is in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Perform final inspections and approvals on completed installations, ensuring systems are operational and meet safety and quality standards before handover.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials meet quality requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Controller, Quality Inspector, or similar role within the fire installation or construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Knowledge of quality control processes and standards specific to fire protection systems.
Certification in quality control, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent
Familiarity with KSA regulatory requirements, including civil defense and fire protection codes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail in inspecting and reviewing installations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with quality management software is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with teams and provide clear quality expectations.
