Job Description

Responsibilities:

Tendering (Bidding) Process:
Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical components, materials, and labor based on client requirements and specifications.
Tender Documentation: Review and interpret tender documents, technical specifications, and contract conditions to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
Quotation Preparation: Prepare and submit competitive and accurate technical and financial proposals in response to client tender invitations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, procurement, and project management teams to gather relevant data, ensure alignment on project scope, and confirm technical solutions are feasible and cost-effective.
Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to clarify project details, answer technical questions, and propose solutions based on the tender requirements.
Design Engineering:
Electrical System Design: Design electrical systems and layouts for industrial applications such as electrical distribution, control systems, lighting, and safety systems in factory environments.
Selection of Equipment: Specify electrical equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, panel boards, and switchgear, ensuring they meet both technical and commercial requirements.
Compliance with Standards: Ensure all designs comply with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, or ISO) and regulations.
CAD Drawings: Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
Technical Analysis: Perform calculations for load analysis, short circuit protection, and other relevant electrical parameters.
Project Coordination:
Technical Support: Provide technical support during the execution of electrical projects, from design through to installation and commissioning.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and compliance certificates.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the design or tender phase and propose mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement:
Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering technologies, standards, and materials to ensure the company’s designs are competitive and state-of-the-art.
Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve designs and processes for better performance, cost-efficiency, and safety.
