The Container Checker will be responsible for inspecting shipping containers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role involves monitoring loading and unloading operations, ensuring precise documentation, and maintaining an accurate inventory of containers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect containers for structural integrity, cleanliness, and any visible defects before and after loading and unloading.
- Verify the contents of containers against shipping documents, ensuring that the correct items are loaded and unloaded.
- Record and report any discrepancies or damage found during inspections to the relevant parties.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of container inspections, including photographic documentation where necessary.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and transport operators to facilitate efficient cargo handling operations.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work area, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and third-party service providers.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in container inspection, warehousing, or logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations pertaining to cargo handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
