Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our team at Crowne Plaza Madinah. As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the replenishment, special order, and data input teams. You will play a crucial role in inventory management, supply chain optimization, and process improvement initiatives within the purchasing department.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision: Direct and coordinate the work of replenishment, special order, and data input teams. This includes job assignment, training, performance evaluation, and compensation review. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise high-quality team members.
Inventory/Supply Chain Management: Develop inventory forecasts and open-to-buy budgets. Monitor inventory status to ensure it meets company targets. Propose solutions to limit unproductive inventory. Improve and automate replenishment systems.
Analysis: Drive in-stock management metrics and key reports. Manage order placement and tracking metrics to optimize on-time shipping, fill rate, and lead time. Use metrics to track and improve replenishment and fulfillment processes.
Process Improvement: Define and implement process improvements within the purchasing department. Collaborate with other departments to enhance workflows impacting replenishment and product flow. Work with the IT team to automate key processes.
Project Support: Lead and support various purchasing department initiatives and projects. Provide ad-hoc reporting on inventory management as necessary.
Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with business partners and suppliers. Participate in continuous improvement teams related to inventory management.
Training: Assist in training team members on inventory management principles and forecasting.
Other Duties: Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental goals.
