Job Description

Job Title: Senior Buyer / Procurement Manager

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia (Candidate should be ready to work all area of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

Job Summary:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all procurement activities align with the company’s goals and compliance requirements. The Procurement Manager will work closely with various departments to support their procurement needs while optimizing costs and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. Experience in the GCC region, particularly Saudi Arabia, and fluency in English, Hindi, and Arabic are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives and the market dynamics of GCC in general & Saudi Arabia in specific.
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and regional regulations to inform procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with senior management to set procurement goals and budget forecasts.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance within the GCC region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value, considering regional business practices.
• Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements in compliance with GCC regulations and company policies.
• Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
• Ensure that contracts are aligned with local and international legal requirements.

• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, purchase order creation, and receipt of goods.
• Implement and manage procurement policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with GCC & Saudi Arabian standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Monitor and manage procurement budgets to ensure expenditures align with financial plans.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures.
• Conduct regular spend analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
• Delegate tasks and manage team performance to ensure high productivity and effectiveness.
• Provide training and support to team members on procurement processes and best practices.
• Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and production, to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment.
• Support new product development and other projects by managing procurement-related activities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in the GCC region, particularly Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of regional business culture and market dynamics.
• MS Office applications.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Arabic is essential.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Salary:
• Basic Salary: SR 3,500 per month
• Housing Allowance: SR 500 per month
• Food Allowance: SR 500 per month
