Job Title: Salesperson – Logistics & Land Transport Services
Job Description:
As a Salesperson specializing in Logistics and Land Transport, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding client relationships, and promoting our range of land transport solutions to potential and existing clients. You will play a key role in increasing revenue and enhancing the overall customer experience within the logistics and land transport sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in land transport services, including road freight, trucking, and freight forwarding.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor services to identify areas of opportunity.
Quotations & Proposals: Prepare and present competitive quotes, proposals, and service offerings for land transport solutions.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals and meet sales targets.
Service Promotion: Promote the company’s land transport services (e.g., truck transport, freight forwarding, distribution services) to potential customers, explaining the value and benefits of our solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales progress, customer feedback, and market conditions to the management team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales within the logistics, transportation, or land freight sector
Knowledge of land transport services (truck transport, road freight, distribution, etc.)
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients
Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets
Familiarity with logistics software or tools (TMS, CRM systems) is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
