COSMETOLOGY NURSE

• Evaluate the skin conditions of the patients and analyze a patient’s medical history.
• Monitor the effectiveness of skin treatments and make necessary improvements or changes.
• Communicate with assistants and other team members to ensure therapies are being administered properly.
• Educate patients on the right ways to achieve healthy skin.
• Treat the skin and hair disorders faced by the patients.
• Recommend appropriate products that are compatible with the patient’s skin condition to promote healing.
• Prescribing medication for the treatment of skin conditions.
• Educate the patient all about the procedure or surgery.
• Should be able to perform Aesthetic procedures namely Botox, Fillers, PRP and Laser.
• Performing non-invasive surgical procedures on skin.
• Counsel patients on topics such as the need for annual dermatologic screenings, sun protection, skin cancer awareness, or skin and lymph node self-examinations.
• Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.
• Treat every patient with respect and compassion and ensure compliance with current medical laws and ethics
• Participate in Professional Development Opportunities to learn about new treatments and research.
