Web Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Your role involves translating high-level requirements into interactive designs that enhance the overall user experience. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our web presence aligns with our brand identity.

Responsibilities
Design and Layout:
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final implementation.
Conceptualize original website design ideas that simplify complex information.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design concepts.
Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive stakeholders.

Content Management:
Regularly update website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Monitor user feedback and make necessary adjustments to website layouts.
Code new pages when required, maintaining brand consistency.

SEO Optimization:
Collaborate with marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.
Optimize website content for search engines to improve visibility and rankings.

Skills and Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Web Designer.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies.
BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a Visual Arts subject.
