IT Specialist

We are a reputed hospital and we need IT Specialist with minimum 2 year experience.

The scope of responsibilities for the IT Specialist role:

1. Technical Support:

• Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems with computer systems, printers, servers, and other IT equipment.

• Support the installation and maintenance of software applications.

2. System Administration:

• Manage and maintain servers, including Active Directory, DNS, and file servers.

• Monitor system performance to ensure the availability and reliability of network resources.

• Execute regular system backups and data recovery procedures.

• Enhance network security through updates, patches, and established security protocols.

3. Network Management:

• Configure and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).

• Ensure seamless network connectivity across the company’s infrastructure.

• Identify and resolve network performance issues, optimizing for efficiency.

4. Cybersecurity:

• Implement robust security measures to protect data and systems from potential threats.

• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Monitor for potential security incidents and coordinate response efforts.

5. Software and Hardware Management:

• Install and configure new software and hardware components.

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets and manage lifecycle effectively.

• Advise on hardware and software upgrades to optimize performance.

6. User Training and Documentation:

• Conduct training sessions for employees on new technology or software implementations.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures and systems.

7. Project Support:

• Assist in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and software deployments.

• Collaborate with various departments to address their technological needs.

8. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure that all IT systems comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.

• Generate reports detailing IT system performance, incidents, and relevant activities.
