Job Description

The Sous Chef will play a critical role in the kitchen, acting as the right hand to the Head Chef. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, managing daily food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
• Supervise kitchen staff and provide training and mentorship.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.

Qualifications:

•Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining environment.
•Exceptional culinary skills and creativity.
•Strong leadership and team management abilities.
•Knowledge of health and safety standards.
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
•Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
