Mechanical Technician - Aluminum Industry

Responsibilities:

• Executes PPM schedules for timely, compliant maintenance.
• Performs administration, configuration, calibration, maintenance, programming, and qualification of equipment/machinery.
• Conducts repairs and maintenance on Smelter equipment and related machinery.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic equipment and process errors.
• Provides on-site customer support.
• Monitors equipment and machinery for optimal performance.
• Monitors stock requirements and ensures timely replenishment.
• Contributes to best practice maintenance processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical or a relevant field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Relevant welding certification & NEBOSH is advantageous.
• Proficient user of MS Office.
