We are seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to join our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, extensive experience in handling petty cash, and proficiency in managing purchases including raising LPOs, timely invoice entry, and monthly reconciliation of creditors.
Responsibilities:
Manage payroll processes efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payment to employees and compliance with relevant regulations.
Handle petty cash transactions, including disbursements, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records.
Oversee purchase processes, including raising purchase orders (LPOs), entering invoices into the system promptly, and ensuring proper documentation.
Conduct monthly reconciliation of creditors, obtaining statements from suppliers and resolving any discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets as required.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
1)Minimum 3 years work experience as an Accountant
2)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3)Hands-on experience with accounting software Tally
4)Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
5)Experience with general ledger functions
6)Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Salary Range: 250- 300 (depending on experience)
